Came across this beauty on one of my walks in Madison, WI. Just makes me think of the days when family and friends were the spark in our lives and cell phones were not even a distant dream.
I grew up in south central Michigan, mostly country girl. I loved animals, nature, and talked to God as I walked through woods and fields. My love of art began young, encouraged by my mother, who is also an artist and photographer. Jr and Sr High were wonderful places of encouragement for me in art,photography and writing with teachers who gave me freedom to create. I am amazed now as I look back -- freedom and materials -- how blessed I was. In 1971 my family and I moved to Idaho and lived there for over 20 years. Idaho's beautiful mountains and deserts still inspire me. I enjoyed being part of the guild in Wendell, Idaho.
